Fundamentals of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) Workshop

The Canadian Society of Breast Imaging (CSBI) and the Ontario Association of Radiologists (OAR) are pleased to present a workshop dedicated to the Fundamentals of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT).
This 5 hour workshop with simulation is designed to provide individual instruction in digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) interpretation while reviewing 50 clinical tomosynthesis data sets with accompanying standard mammography. This workshop will feature a hands-on case review, interpretation and reporting.
Radiologists, Technologists, Residents and Fellows working in the field of breast imaging will be introduced to this advanced imaging technique which will enhance their skills for integration within their practice. At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Read and interpret digital breast tomosynthesis images
- Compare the findings of a 2D synthetic image with those of a DBT image
- Describe how breast cancer looks on tomosynthesis
ACCREDITATION:
Radiologists:
→ Section 1 (Accredited Group Learning Activity), registrants will claim 2.0 hours. Credits will automatically be calculated when submitted to the Royal College.
→ Section 3 (Accredited Simulation Activity), registrants will claim 2.50 hours. Credits will automatically be calculated when submitted to the Royal College.
